Happy Friday! It’s a bittersweet Friday for me, as most of you know my husband and I travel full time, and we have been in the beautiful and sunny Palm Springs, CA for the past 6 weeks, and loving every minute! Tomorrrow we start to make our way north to the Pacific Northwest for the summer! I’m excited to be heading to Seattle and Portland, we’ve never been! And I keep hearing, now that I’m vegan, I am going to really LOVE both of those places, which honestly is part of the reason why we picked them as cities to visit!
Palm Springs has been such a life changing place for us. I love the city and the people and being outside! I learned to hike here (turns out it’s JUST like walking) and I learned to make things like green smoothies, thanks to a very wonderfully stocked kitchen at the AMAZING vacation condo we are staying in. Seriously, if you are ever wanting to visit Palm Springs, I’ve got a great place to recomend to you
So in honor of my green smoothie love, I thought I’d post some links to some great green smoothie ideas. If you have some green smoothie ideas you’d like to share, please share away in the comments!

Try freezing into popsickle molds and you have yourself a much healthier summer treat!
The most important thing with smoothie making is expiermenting. You have to play around with stuff, and be willing to try new things! There are also some powders you can find at most healthy stores that are green food powders. I often add them to my smoothies in the morning for added protein and nutrients.
So what’s your favorite green smoothie to make?
Thank you for this fantastic resource! It’s great!
Great list, Natala. Thanks! You rock!
My favorite is one that I drink all the time (this is a large batch fit for a vitamix or similar blender)
3 frozen bananas
5 oz frozen strawberries
5 oz frozen blueberries
8 oz frozen spinach
1 tsp flax seed
handful (2-3 oz?) raw cashews
You can mix up the fruit choices a bit or use 8 oz mixed baby greens instead of the spinach.
You might be thankful you are leaving Palm Springs. Yes it is beautiful, but it is also 130* in summer! Unless you are a serious heat fiend you may find you prefer the northwest this time of year
Your smoothies look delicious!
