Soul Food. Recipe Friday!

We know that eating a plant based diet is only way to end the brutal killing and treatment of animals. We know that to make strides in social justice in things like conserving water and grain means to go plant based. We know that for enviornmental factors going plant based is best. And we know that if we want to avoid really nasty diseases and conditions down the line, sticking to a plant based diet is really the best thing you can do.

But did you know that aside from that, eating plant based just tastes better? That’s right. Throw away that rotting carcass and the hormones and fake junk and start eating some real food, tasty, delicous way better tasting, real food.

I used to think that going vegan would mean salads and well more salads. I found out soon after that I was clueless. Going plant based meant that I could actually eat really amazing tasting food with out the consequences.

Vegan soul food is one of those things that makes all the difference. From time to time having a meal that warms the soul just does something to you. But you don’t need to expierence this soul food goodness with all of the junk food.

So today, after a week long giveaway of “Vegan Soul Kitchen” I thought I would post some Vegan soul recipes! Go ahead, try your hand at some good old soul food.
