You have articulated a lot of thoughts that have swirled around in my head. I generally don’t feel that I’m “vegan enough”–that I’ll misrepresent someone else’s journey. Thank you for helping me think through some of these issues.

Thanks so much for this. It really spoke to me and a lot of your opinions are mine-I don’t talk to many vegans about this, but my reasons have evolved from solely focused on health and a bit of animal rights to largely environment/climate change based-which is a wider encompassing view, in my opinion, but I won’t get into it. I don’t talk to other vegans because I don’t want to come off as preachy or be judged for my personal reason, when it gets us to the same place-fewer animals being killed for our pleasure.

Thank you!!! Everyone needs a long rant every once in a while…..and well, you did it FOR me I don’t eat as healthily as I should, but still vegan. It took me a few years to lose about 80 pounds. And even that didn’t bring down my cholesterol!! Nope, I had to eventually stop eating all animal products. That did it. But it still took a while…another year to lose 30 more pounds and get the numbers down. Anyway…..yes, I read all the way through, so there!
